The Indian Society for Non–Destructive Testing, every year gives National Awards to INDIAN Nationals for their significant contributions and excellence in the field of NDT. These eminent persons / professionals represent virtually every engineering Industry and discipline that practices and benefits from NDT technology. The following are the Awards bestowed by ISNT every year,
“ISNT-IXAR National Award for Best Paper published in JNDE, in R&D category”. This
Award is sponsored by M/s Industrial X-Ray and Allied Radiographers, Mumbai.
The Award comprises –a citation and a cash award of Rs.5,000/-.
ISNT-Eastwest National Award for Best paper published in JNDE in Industrial
applications category”. This Award is sponsored by M/s East West Engineering &
Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai.
The Award comprises – a citation and a cash award of Rs.5,000/-.
“ISNT– Choksi Imaging”* for the Best Chapter of ISNT (applicable to ISNT Chapters
only), sponsored by M/s. Choksi Imaging Limited, Mumbai. This award as Citation is
bestowed on a chapter with Best performance and contribution to ISNT. (*Award
Nomination to be filed by ISNT Chapters only).
All these Awards will be declared to the individual Awardee through email and also
announced in the official website of ISNT ( www.isnt.in )
All these Awards are given during the inaugural session of the ISNT National NDE
Seminar - an event all NDT professionals look forward to and participate in. This year’s
NDE Seminar (NDE 2024) is scheduled to be held at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai
from December 12-14, 2024.
The selection process for the Award winners is by an Awards Committee constituted by
the National Governing Council of ISNT with NDE experts from reputed government,
private, public sector organisations, R&D institutions, industries and academic institutes
like IIT and IISc.
On behalf of ISNT, it gives me great pleasure in inviting you to recommend suitable
persons from your organisation for any of the Awards mentioned at Sl. No. A 1 to 5. The
last date for receipt of nominations is 30th September, 2024.

2. Kindly download the application and submit soft copy of the dully filled in application to awards@isnt.in
3. Any/all applications sent or copied to any other email id will be ignored.
4. Applications may be self-nominated or nominated by his/her organisation. Full Contact details of the nominating and nominated person to be given in the application.
5. Send separate email for each application/applicant/category. Mention Award Category in the Subject of the E. Mail.
6. Do not send any hard copies of the application to Head Office or any other address.
7. Do not send same applications from multiple names/ emails.
8. Add your citation in less than 75 words in case your application is selected for this Award. Please note this may be suitably edited /modified as required.
9. We will try and acknowledge receipt of each application to the same email id. Do not send emails enquiring about the status of your application/email.
10. If your last year’s application was not considered for an award you may update it this year.
11. Canvassing by email, phone calls, solicitation or in any other form will disqualify the application/applicant.
12. Claims of bias / partiality, alleging regional / lingual / cast bias will be viewed very seriously.
13. The decision of the awards committee in all matters will be final.
